Previous studies have found that once seedlings break the soil, light can induce degradation of key ethylene signaling element insensitive 3 (EIN3), so as to indirectly inhibit synthesis ethylene. Ethylene is most important hormone in phosphorus absorption by plants, which induces expression acid phosphatase (APase) and starvation response genes. Therefore, it might be speculated changes intensity could regulate some degree. However, there are few reports on mechanism regulates metabolism.
